Story of Radha Kund Snan and How was the it formed?

 Radha Kund Snan celebrates Ahoi Ashtami. This is the auspicious day which falls on the Shukla Paksha Ashtami in the Kartik month. On this day holy take a bath in Radha Kund which is thought essential for troubled couples trying to convince. On the auspicious day of Ahoi Ashtami, it is said that taking a holy swim in Radha Kund can enable couples to conceive a child. The pair also conduct a Nirjala Vrat in addition to this practice on this day.  

Radha Kund Snan falls on Ahoi Ashtami.Radha Kund is near Vrindavan on the West Side. This is regarded as one of the holiest locations. Radha Kund Parikrama’s path is located on a hill that Lord Krishna raised with his little finger. Let us inform you all that Radha Kund and Shyam Kund both are closer to each other. Many legends are said to surround their creation. Shyam Kund and Radha Kund resemble as peacocks.  

Story of Radha Kund Snan 

After Lord Krishna slew the bull-like monster Aristasur, Radha Kund was born. Given that it is a member of the cow family, the bull is thought to be a religious emblem. Because of this slaughtering the bull was considered a religious sin by Radharani and the Gopis. Radha ji gave Krishna the request to purify himself by bathing in each holy river. Finally, Lord Krishna gathered the water from all the sacred sites into one location in order to appease Radharani. The water from all the miraculous and holy rivers gathered at the spot where Krishna planted his lotus feet and ever since this location has been known as Shyam Kund.  

When Radharani realized this, she used her bangles to dig the earth and create the new pool which is close to Shyam Kund. Radha ji was asked to join the pool by all the holy water sources. In this manner, Radha Kund was created. There are a total of eight Kunds along with Radha Kund, each one named after one of the Radharani eight closest companions.  

Radha Kund Snan Puja Vidhi and Rituals 

  • On the auspicious day of Ahoi Ashtami taking a holy plunge is seen to be good for the couple.  
  • On this day women maintain a fast and offer prayer to Radharani.  
  • In order to obtain Radharani’s blessings for conception the couple does puja while standing in the water tank and presents her with Kushmanda draped with crimson fabric and white uncooked pumpkin known as petha.  
  • Take a holy bath in Shyam Kund before moving on to Radha Kund.  
  • Beginning at midnight, bathing last all night long till dawn.  

Rituals  

While performing the rituals of Radha Kund Snan is very auspicious and beneficial when it is performed on Ahoi Ashtami. The devotees offer pumpkin garlands and prashadam to the sacred Radha Kund. During midnight devotees take a bath in the Kund and then afterward take a bath in Shyama Kund.  

How was the Radha Kund formed?  

After Krishna slew the demon, then Radha forced him to perform Snan in no. of holy rivers to wash away all of his sins. After that Krishna firmly planted his foot at the spot where he was standing. All the rivers that Radha has indicated occurred as the results and then Kund was created.  

In this Kund, Lord Krishna took a bath. The name of this Kund was Shyam Kund. But Radha becomes enraged by Krishna’s heavenly strength. After that, she dug a trench and filled it with Mansi ganga water, with the aid of her pals, gopies, and bangles. Then this Kund named was Radha Kund.  

This Radha Kund and Kangan Kund emerged to Govardhan. On the day when Radha ji formed this Kund, on that day Ahoi Ashtami was. So according to this premise, every husband who bathed his wife on this specific day would granted a kids.  

Importance of Radha Kund!  

Even though Radha Kund is highly reversed in Mathura and Kanha. The importance of Radha Kund Snan is increased significantly by Ahoi Ashtami. Any couple bath at midnight in this Kund was blessed with a son. Numerous devotees go there every year due to this same notion.  

Significance of Radha Kund Snan!  

On Ahoi Ashtami a lucky day that is exceedingly auspicious, devotees take an auspicious Snan in the Radha Kund. The newlywed couple who wanted a child but had some issues then came for this to get blessings from Radharani for their son. Radha Kund Snan is observed on Ashtami in the month of Kartik, which falls within the Krishna Paksha.  

According to Hindu Mythology, it states that couples who bath or swim at Radha Kund on Ahoi Ashtami evening are blessed with the child. There are numerous couples who visit Radha Kund for Radha Kund Snan. This is known as holy bathing in Radha Kund.  

Conclusion 

The significance of the holy bath of Radha Kund is for getting a blessed child. This occurs on the day of Ahoi Ashtami. Devotees take a bath at midnight in Radha Kund Snan on the day of Ahoi Ashtami.
